Quiet Poem

€280.00

Inspired by Yasunari Kawabata’s Snow Country

"Beyond the long tunnel through the border, it was the snow country." Kawabata’s iconic first line opens not just a landscape, but a world of silent longing and fading warmth.

In Snow Country, white is not only the color of snow, but of distance, between people, between what is felt and what can be said. The love between Shimamura and Komako is fleeting, like footprints in snow, visible, yet destined to disappear.

This bracelet, strung with misty white jadeite and a single golden bead, reflects that stillness. It doesn’t seek attention, but stays quietly, with you. A presence felt in pauses, a warmth found in transience.

It asks for no resolution, only that in the wearing, there is recognition of something unspoken, and understood.
